I have encoder: https://circuitverse.org/simulator/edit/control-unit-1360740e-8d15-4e0d-9b59-5b52def8eb57 When it starts with some kind of non-zero input, it's fine. But if you zero out all the inputs, then after that no matter what your input is, it throws "contention error".

Is there any page where you discuss the Verilog limitations, bugs, errors, etc. in CircuitVerse or any kind of documentation on the language?

Whenever I load the instructions to ROM memory and enable the clock to start execution, I get the error "ConstVal set to non-binary value". What does that even mean? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! This is my project: https://circuitverse.org/simulator/edit/hack-computer-16-bits

Help I am trying to get a bus which many chips can talk to, a very simple 8 bit CPU, problem is I keep getting the error "ConstVal set to Non-binary value.", this is odd as only one thing outputs onto the bus at once, but two chips are connected the program counter and Accumulator. https://circuitverse.org/users/80606/projects/alu-1e047f5a-390d-4109-9699-8d866e792af7

Hello , I'm a new user , and i'v been playing around with some of the tools , and for a specific case i need a splitter , but the one provided isnt sufficent (at least for my case ) , cause for a given "N" sized bit , it only gives you the least significant "M" bits, how do i get the other part of the bits, i was thinking of bit shifting , by it imlplies extra cost , i need some...

We can use decoder with bitwidth but we can't connect more than 1 wire. Usually decoders has inputs = √output. Yes we can use decoders with bitwidth but we can't connect more than 1 wire. Anybody can help me! :(

Since you support a Buffer gate with tri-state outputs (0, 1 and open), it would be useful to use a different color wire when it’s output is open. Currently it uses dark green (the same as a 0 output) when the buffer’s output is open. In the case where the outputs of multiple buffers are tied together, the wire path would be light or dark green to reflect the output of the enabled buffer, o...

The term “Text Direction” is confusion, as it implies how the characters in the text should be facing, rather than where the label should be positioned. it would be less confusing if you used “Text Position” instead, with the choices “Top”, “Bottom”, “Left” and “Right”. Thanks,

A significant improvement to the ROM and EPROM elements would be to allow loading their contents from a file. The basic idea would be to load the ROM or EPROM from an uploaded file. You could support binary files, where each byte in the file is a cell in the ROM or EPROM, or text-based file formats, like Intel Hexadecimal. This would be done via a new Load from File option. When select...

I'm trying to find a way to update the circuit elements in the simulation canvas via the developer console. The reason for this is that I'm constructing a circuit where each stage has multiple elements with individual delays. These cumulative delays will affect the output of the circuit. I started by inspecting the HTML and Javascript for the simulation canvas. The UI elements and images are...
