I am not sure if this would be possible or has been addressed, but it would be very useful if you could make subcircuits in irregular shapes other than rectangles. for instance, a circuit in the shape of a 'U' could be used as a socket for changeable subcircuits, like if you have many different versions of a data storage unit and want to be able to easily swap them. Or, it could be used to, for instance, connect all pins of a keyboard to the same subcircuit, including the clock
