Description:
Our system, creatively dubbed as ‘Smart Room Control System’, implements the use of Passive Infrared Sensors, Microwave Sensor, Temperature Sensor, Light Dependent Resistor, and Proximity Sensors for the detection of inputs. The digital circuit part itself is consisted of simple AND and OR gates, and the use of an MSI component, the 4-to-16 decoder. They form the logic to control the appliances at the output.
The system is designed to meet two objectives; to tackle our prevalent electricity-wasting habit; and to generally improve our quality-of-life (QoL).
This is done for the completion of Digital Electronics project SIF2021, Department of Physics, University Malaya.
