Two versions of 4 bit nonrestoring array divider. First divider always involve a carry propagation along the row. The length of the row is proportional to the number of bits, and the delay time becomes very considerable for a long row. Carry Lookahead version (CSA Divider) use carry save adders and carry lookahead circuit to reduce that delay, offering much better speed of operation.
