While editing a project's or assignment's description if shift+enter is pressed the &lt br &gt tag is visible in the view HTML option and it also shows in the textarea, but somehow it is not bing stored in the database in the field assignment.description. So on updating the assignment or project description or creating a new one that contains &l

t br &gt tag, it does not get reflected when viewed later on. Whereas on pressing enter, a new paragraph is created thus the content is wrapped in &lt p &gt &lt /p &gt tags and is being displayed. I need some help why &lt br &gt tag isn't being stored in the database.
