Increasing the input size has different effects based on each gate. In general it extends the effect of the gate to more than to inputs; which is a maddening repetition of the question, I know. In the case of an and gate if you change the input size to three inputs then all three inputs will have to be on for the output of the gate to activate. In the case of an or gate, instead of one of two to activate the gates output you now have one to three. Just hook up some inputs and outputs and experiment.
